Chai Tea, both Green and Black Tea with spices and herbs, 3 different flavors, cinnamon, nutmeg, holy basil, cardamom, coriander
Chai Tea Blends
Backyard Patch Herbs
Sit back with a hot cup of Backyard Patch Chai Tea! The spice flavor of cinnamon and cardamom will warm you to your toes. Just the act of brewing a cup or a pot of hot tea will start you on your way to a stress free break.
I hand-blend these three varieties of Chai Tea using a combination of traditional spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves with specially chosen herbs. Some flavors are blended with a black tea base and others with a green tea base.
Packaged fresh in a zip seal bag with decorative labeling.
**Remember to choose which flavor your want**
Chai Tea Flavors:
Traditional Chai Tea -- Added to loose leaf black tea this blend contains, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, fennel and nutmeg. Recipes for different preparation methods are included.
Green Chai Spice Tea -- a Kashmiri blend with green tea, cardamom, cloves, calendula and almonds create unusual but rich flavors.
Tulsi Green Tea Chai (with Holy Basil) -- this blend features pearl green tea along with holy basil, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
Because I use only the freshest herbs, most of which I grow myself, all blends from the Backyard Patch have an 18 to 24 month shelf-life guarantee for both the loose and bagged tea. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.
Herb-based Teas often have medicinal qualities; but no medicinal applications are recommended without consulting your physician. Any medicinal claims made are strictly based on herb lore and not medical fact. Self-medicating with herbs should never be done without proper genuine medical advice. This is my disclaimer -- and I blend my teas for taste first, so choose your herb teas because you enjoy them!
We blend herbs with black and green tea too, so check out our entire list in the Herb Flavored Tea Collection
