Barley Vegetable Soup Mix - A great bean and barley soup with all vegetable ingredients. It can be eaten vegetarian or with any meat protein. A hearty vegetarian barley soup to go with fresh or canned vegetables. Great served in a bread bowl. Can be made with or without meat products. Contains pinto beans, split peas, barley, dried onion and herbs.
Each Soup Mix is packaged in a pouch and can be stored in any cool and dry location. A colorful label includes recipes, tips and instructions.
Soup Mixes made by Backyard Patch Herbs are a blend of dried natural ingredients (beans, pasta, etc.) and seasonings formulated to create a hearty soup that serves 4 to 6 people. Recipes and variations are included with each blend.
Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we use only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

We grow all the herbs in our 3/4 acre herb garden in Addison, Illinois. We air dry them, hand blend them and don't mix in anything else.

With the exception of Chicken Noodle soup, each of our soup mixes are made with a salt-free vegan bouillon and can be made vegetarian or vegan depending on how you prepare them. Protein suggestions, like Chicken or Pork can be substituted or left out and still enjoy perfect flavor.
