Chili Seasoning Blend -- This amazing blend comes from my Grandmother's old handwritten cookbook. It is a unique blend of herbs and spices that is spicy but not too hot. You can add your own heat to taste with this versatile blend. It comes with a our traditional Chili recipe, as well as a vegetarian chili recipe, but you can also use it with your family recipe too!
Substitute this herb-rich blend for Chili Powder in any recipe for increased depth of flavor. The blend contains chili powder, thyme, oregano, marjoram, garlic, onion, paprika, cumin, allspice, cloves, ginger, celery seed, and cayenne
Cornbread in a Can -- Traditional cornbread with a fun herbal twist. We added herbs flavors to this cornbread recipe, then include a can to bake it in. The bread comes out with cute ribs and in fun to slice in nice circles to enjoy with your chili.
The Chili Blend is packaged with 1/2 cup of the blend in a cello bag with green ribbon so it looks like a chile pepper with a colorful label that includes recipes, tips and instructions. The Cornbread is packaged inside the can for baking.
Like all blends from the Backyard Patch we guarantee an 18 to 24 month shelf-life, because we use only the freshest herbs. All Backyard Patch herbs are raised organically and are chemical and pesticide free.

We grow all the herbs in our 3/4 acre herb garden in Addison, Illinois. We air dry them, hand blend them and don't mix in anything else.

With the exception of Chicken Noodle soup, each of our soup mixes are made with a salt-free vegan bouillon and can be made vegetarian or vegan depending on how you prepare them. Protein suggestions, like Chicken or Pork can be substituted or left out and still enjoy perfect flavor.
