I kept everything that made it special: deep flavor, warm spice, and satisfying richness without overwhelming heat.

Barbecued Beans
The recipe serves 12
8 oz. ground beef
8 oz. bacon chopped
1 small onion, chopped
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup barbeque sauce
2 Tbls prepared mustard
2 Tablespoons molasses
1 ½ Tbls. Backyard Patch Chill Blend
½ tsp salt
1 16 oz. can pork & beans
1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 16 oz. can butter beans, drained
Brown ground beef with bacon and onion in a saucepan, stirring until crumbly, and drain. Add remaining ingredients (except beans) and mix well. Stir in beans. Spoon into 2 ½ quart

We grow all the herbs in our 3/4 acre herb garden in Addison, Illinois. We air dry them, hand blend them and don't mix in anything else.

With the exception of Chicken Noodle soup, each of our soup mixes are made with a salt-free vegan bouillon and can be made vegetarian or vegan depending on how you prepare them. Protein suggestions, like Chicken or Pork can be substituted or left out and still enjoy perfect flavor.
