Pasta Fagioli Soup – Pasta e fagioli, meaning "pasta and beans," is a traditional Italian dish. This wonderful winter meal can be widely found even in restaurants that do not specialize in Italian cuisine. It is often pronounced 'pasta fazool' or 'Pasta Fazul' in the United States, after its name in the Neapolitan language, pasta e fasule.
I named my version Pasta Fagioli and pronounce it in the Neapolitan way in honor of the Italian families who served it to me growing up!
All you need to create a wonderful soup is add a can of diced tomatoes to this mix of beans, pasta and seasoning. Use a 14-ounce can if you like it thick, or a 28-ounce can if you like it more liquid. Full cooking instructions are included on the jar. This is a long cook soup so leave time to make it and you will be handsomely rewarded. This jar makes enough soup for up to 14 servings.

We grow all the herbs in our 3/4 acre herb garden in Addison, Illinois. We air dry them, hand blend them and don't mix in anything else.

With the exception of Chicken Noodle soup, each of our soup mixes are made with a salt-free vegan bouillon and can be made vegetarian or vegan depending on how you prepare them. Protein suggestions, like Chicken or Pork can be substituted or left out and still enjoy perfect flavor.
