Sun-dried Tomato Pesto Blend Herb Sauce Mix, dry herbs, no salt, gluten free

Pesto Herb Blend with Sun-Dried Tomatoes - A great basil-rich mixture for olive oil that can be tossed with pasta or used on bread. Perfect in winter when fresh basil is scarce! Contains basil, garlic, parsley and real sun-dried tomatoes.

Safely packaged in a zip-seal pouch for easy storage, each package contains three (3) tablespoons of the blend which is enough to make at least two recipes. 

Like all blends from the Backyard Patch I guarantee an 18 to 24-month shelf-life, because I use only the freshest ingredients. I raise all Backyard Patch herbs organically and my mixes are chemical and pesticide-free.

Try this special recipe with this blend:

Enhanced Pesto Sauce

1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts
1 pkg. Backyard Patch Pesto Blend
1 Tbls Lemon Juice
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. kosher salt

Combine Pesto Blend with lemon juice and let soak for 5 minutes. Add re-hydrated Pesto Blend, olive oil and pine nuts to blender (or food processor) and blend until it forms a paste, stopping as often as needed to push down ingredients. Add in Parmesan cheese and salt, blend until smooth. Transfer to bowl and serve tossed with pasta or as a bread spread.

Because I grow and blend the herbs myself I can assure you no preservatives or pesticides have been used. I can also guarantee that these blends will hold up to storage for at least 18 months and still provide a flavorful item.
