Our Custom Specialty Teas were originally crafted for museums, women’s clubs, churches, and community events, designed to celebrate history, tradition, and the joy of gathering together.
These hand-crafted teas combine premium black and green tea leaves with freshly dried herbs and spices, giving you a taste experience you simply can’t find in mass-produced tea bags. Every sip is a tribute to the unique partnerships and causes that inspired the blend.
And here’s the best part: A portion of every sale goes back to support the organizations that helped create these special recipes. So you can enjoy a delicious cup while giving back!
Our teas come packaged in eco-friendly, resealable kraft paper pouches, with enough loose tea to brew 15–20 cups (or more!). Freshly blended to order, they’ll stay flavorful for 18 to 24 months when stored properly.

Garden Gait 2010
A floral, citrusy celebration crafted with the Lisle, IL Women’s Club for their annual Garden Walk fundraiser. Black tea meets lavender, hibiscus, blackberry leaf, and lemon verbena for a lush, garden-inspired cup. Proceeds support the Lisle Women’s Club Scholarship Fund.
Victorian Hibiscus Tea
A blend of lemon peel and hibiscus gives wonderful citrus flavor with the rich black tea. First created in the 1990s for the Wheaton History Center’s elegant winter Victorian Mexico Tea. Sip on history and feel like royalty.

Teas always pair well Scones and Shortbread. We also make great tea breads to serve with our teas. Black and Green Teas blended with herbs provide great unique flavors.

How do I brew your teas for the best flavor?
Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea per cup of hot water. If the blend has green or black tea, only steep for up to 2 minutes. If it is 100% herb tea, steep for 5-7 minutes, then strain. For iced tea, double the amount of tea and pour over ice after steeping.

We grow all the herbs used in our blends in our 3/4 acre herb garden in Addison, Illinois. The herbs are grown without pesticides, dried without electricity, blended by hand without preservatives, fillers and anti-clumping agents. Nothing but pure herb flavor!
